FC/AFC CJ'S PROMISE OF HOPE
Sire: FC/AFC Ru-Char's Roger Jr
Dam: AFC/CFC My High Hope
|
"Missy" was our first springer to complete its field championship. We
acquired her from Jeff Miller, a well known field trialer and breeder
of
many field champion ESS. Missy was born on Valentine's Day, Feb. 14, 1988.
The moment I picked her up at the airport and took one look at her, she
won my heart forever. She was a very special friend, and she taught me so
much. She was the first Amateur Field Champion and the second (Open) Field
Champion in the state of Nevada. Three weeks after she completed her FC,
she was diagnosed with cancer. We chose to treat her and she lived
1 1/2 years longer, but finally lost the battle on May 23, 1996. Jerry
also handled Missy at times and they won an Amateur Field Trial together
in Colorado in 1993. We miss her beyond words.

AFC CJ'S WEST WINGS
APRIL PROMISE
"April" is also by FC/AFC CJ's Promise of Hope x FC/AFC K'S Surefire Zack. She was whelped on April 25, 1994
and earned her Amateur Championship in 1999. In November 2000, April took 4th
place in the ESS National Open Championship, held in Odgen, UT. She is the dam
of
AFC Westwings Pistol Pete MH, owned by Deb and Tom Schoene. April was
the most special springer of all times. She was just as comfortable in
the house as in the field. She loved people and children and had the
sweetest disposition. Sadly, she passed away on her 12th birthday and
has left a hole in our hearts that will be hard to fill.
